My School Life

MASA OSPEK

Malam Akrab berSAma OSIS & PK or MASA OSPEK was the first event that PK (Perwakilan Kelas) 018 Three Senior High School made. It was a big event for OSIS and PK period 2014-2016. As the new members of PK who were Iza, Salwa, Pungki, Tiara, Adisya, Oi, Raka, Farras, Faza, Cut, Sistha, Fariz, Adhit, Suy, Avi, Galih, Achmad and I, we had to be the makers of this event.

MASA OSPEK was the event where OSIS and PK would spend their night together to know more about each other as the work partners and a big family. As the new members, we also had to say hi and introduce ourselves. So this event would help us a lot to be welcomed in this OSIS and PK big family.

It was a long progress for us as the committees of this event. We chose Iza as the leader (chief executive) of this event. It took our time a lot to discuss and prepare everything for the event. There were some troubles at preparing but it is also fun because we did everything together as a team. Sometimes we wanted to stop but our excitement made us forget our tiredness and kept us going to make this one of an amazing event in our life we wouldn't regret.

We had a crazy week before the event. We went this and that and this and that... we were so busy! So many things that we needed to prepare faster. Every day in the week, we never stopped working. We sold cireng and cilok in class to get fund for the event, we made posters and share invitations, we decorated the place for the event, and many other things.

Short story, we did a great job. The event was held in Faza's house where was in Farmakologi Street, UNPAD, Cigadung, Dago at 4 p.m. on Saturday, 14 November 2015. In the morning that day, we went school as usual. After an exercise lesson, I went to my home first to get ready while the others went directly to Faza's house. I went home to take a bath first and bring my camera + tripod with me.

When I arrived at Faza's house, my friends were already there decorating. I help them to decorate and practiced for the event. Before it formally started, we discussed first and grew our faith for each other and passion for this event.

YAY MASA OSPEK eventually started!! Many people arrived late but it was okay because there were a lot of them finally came. We were a little bit sad because Achmad and Tiara couldn't join the event, but this event was still going on and we had to make it excellent so they would be proud and happy too. We were nervous at first but it became relaxed when everyone enjoyed our event. Some activities we did were introducing, sharing, eating, playing games and singing.

Everyone that came could take pictures with the background we had prepared. It was MASA OSPEK background and I thought it was cute. When the event started, as the new members we had to introduce ourselves. We turned the lamps off and did the introduction with flashlights. Then we asked everyone to share their stories with all of us. Their stories were new lessons for us to make them as examples of what we were going to do in the future. After that, we ate food. The food was delicious, it was kind of Padang food. I was glad everyone got and liked the food.

After eating, we played games. It was so funny because some people got punishments. Some punishments were making pick up lines and doing a stand up comedy. Everyone laughed a lot, including me. It was so fun, like FUN!!

Before the event was over, we turned the lamps off once again and turned on the candles in front of us (PK 018 who were the committees). We sang together. The song was "Sahabat Kecil" by Ipang. It was a touch-hearted song about having bestfriends. When the song ended, we held each other hands and said thank you.

We spent 6 hours together with all members of OSIS and PK period 2014-2016. I was happy everyone had amazing time with us. Now we felt very welcomed in this huge family. It was success, some members of OSIS & PK told us MASA OSPEK was awesome and not boring. I hope everyone wouldn't forget this event and kept close with each other.

Some pictures of the event :)

A Text About My Favourite Place

Traffic Park
(Taman Lalu Lintas)

A traffic park or children's traffic park is a park in which children can learn the rules of the road. A traffic park is also called a transportation park or traffic garden or safety village depending on locale. Traffic parks are frequently created as an attraction within a larger park. In other cases, they are single-use parks and often small in scale. They can be found in urban as well as rural areas.

A traffic Park (Taman Lalu Lintas) initially was an area that was designated as a tropical area. So no wonder if there are many tropical plants that thrive there. In addition to area designated as green lot, traffic park is also an object of family recreation cheap but still has the educative aspect of the children. Lots of children's play facilities that can be used to play while learning for the children there. Besides it is also a wide area and lush trees will be used to place a cozy picnic for the whole family.

Traffic parks exist throughout Asia, Europe, and North America. Traffic parks in Asia and Europe are focused on traffic safety through pedal-powered vehicles. In the United States and Canada they use bicycles as well as electric, motorized vehicles. These North American parks are called safety villages, because of broader emphasis on safety for fire, electrical, food and other educational purposes.

Indonesia itself has a traffic park which is a garden that has been established since 1 March 1958 in the wake of the Traffic Safety Board bevy Bandung branch, Belitung Street number 1, Bandung, West Java. Bandung Traffic Park is an informal educational means to inculcate traffic ethics for children. Built in 1920 as a tropical garden, then named Insulindepark in 1925. Bandung Traffic Park has a water park also in it. It's not a really big water park but is enough for children to swim. Children can use life vest/jacket to learn about safety in the water. There is also a train and carousel. They are located in the middle of the traffic park. This traffic park also has a pond for fishing. All the area is full of big trees that cover the sky which make hot condition not a trouble for children to play and family who do recreation activities.

This traffic playground than as a place for family recreation, very suitable for early childhood education facilities level students, kindergarten, and elementary school as a place they know the rules and all the traffic signs applicable, hope when they grow up obedient and orderly traffic into discipline drive using the highway. Besides of course provided chairs and benches park benches for the family rest. The main attraction in this park, however, is the miniature of traffic designed for children. Here, kids can try to drive and learn about the traffic sign. There are also occasional activities to learn how the traffic works.

One of the intentions of the Bandung Traffic Park is to improve awareness of traffic safety among school-aged children. Many traffic parks enable children to gain hands-on experience crossing streets and with bicycle or other pedestrian safety challenges in a highly controlled environment devoid of actual motor vehicles.

Children of a minimum age (10 years old in some instances) are allowed to use bicycles or pedal-powered cars to navigate the streets and operate according to traffic laws. Sometimes they share a buggy with their parent, who can provide guidance as they circle the park.

Typically, this Bandung Traffic Park is a scaled-down version of real street networks, with the lane and street-width proportional to the smaller vehicles. Often they include operating traffic signals and during busy times are even staffed with traffic police.

About My Friend

My Friendly Friend

Hi again everyone! I've already posted the introduction about myself. Now it's time for me to let you know about my schoolmate.

My friend is Ayu Hanifah. I call her Ayu. She is one of the beautiful girls in my class at SMAN 3 Bandung (Three Senior High School). Ayu was the girl I sat with on the first day at school, so I knew her before anyone else did. I was so happy that day because she wanted to be my first friend. I've been admiring her all this time because of how friendly she is! I just want to tell you that it's really fun to be her friend.

Ayu was born in Bandung, 29th of November 1999. She is still 15 years old now. I can't wait to be the first friend to say happy birthday to her when she becomes 16 this year! Ayu lives far enough from my house which is in Pasang Street number 27. Her blood type is O which is cool because I have the same blood type like her. She has one brother, his name is Fajar.

Ayu has sparkling black eyes, a sweet smile, and a thin body. She is not as tall as me but she is not also so small. She always smiles to everyone and never looks sad. I always tell her to eat a lot because she really needs to be bigger a little bit. She is diligent and smart. She loves to be friends with everyone so that's why people love being around her. Sometimes she becomes so shy when I compliment her, and it makes me laugh because she gives a cute face with rosy cheeks.

She has some amazing hobbies which are rare for people to have. According to the fact "Ayu is a shy girl", Ayu told me that she just had two hobbies when I asked her. It made me read her blog to find out if she only loved doing two activities. I was amazed that she didn't tell me about all her hobbies.

She actually has many hobbies, like SO MANY.

She loves playing game, reading novels, watching anime (Japanese Cartoon), writing, doing sport, traveling, drawing, and running. She also likes to sleep, which is one of the hobbies we have in common. Look, she only told me two hobbies when actually she has nine great hobbies!

Some games she plays are on her computer or handphone. She likes all the games. But mostly, she likes RPG game. It's a game about being a role player. This is so amazing because I've never heard about the game before. I think it's rare to play this kind of game. She says the game makes her find a lot of friends from another country. She can become a fictional character and play it with all people around the world. She also can converse with them by chatting. She thinks it's really fun. It's quite interesting, maybe I should try to play the game too.

Another games she likes to play are Valkrie Crusade's game and Grand Chase Game. They are games about strategic and heroes. Knowing she likes playing games makes me realize that games can make people happy and smart it they are the right and educational games.

Ayu also likes reading novels. She just likes some genres : fantasy, adventure, magic, mystery, and science fiction. Besides these genres, she doesn't like. Romance, comedy, slice of life are so boring for her. Another hobby she likes is japanese cartoon or anime movie. The movie she likes the most is One Piece. I've heard about the movie before because it's so popular and funny. I watched two episodes and knew why Ayu addicted to it. It's a funny adventure movie. The movie teaches people to believe in friends, to keep the friendships and promises, to never give up, to know how important life is, and how people need faith. So many things people can learn from One Piece movie so it's not surprising Ayu likes it a lot. She also loves drawing some anime characters, writing stories, and traveling (I'd love to travel with her one day). All the hobbies she has are so great, they are rare and amazing!

Her favorite food is an ice cream. I love ice cream too. We both agree that ice cream is so yummy and delicious. What makes me surprised a lot is to know her favorite subjects are Physic and Mathematic. They are hard subjects so it's really cool. She tells me these subjects can make people smarter and use logic. Now I know who I should ask if I don't understand the materials about math and physic.

Her inspiring people are teachers and parents. She wishes to be a really kind person. It's proven by how good she is at treating people. She also wants to be a teacher for people with disabilities and autism. She wants to change all normal people' minds about these people with disabilities and autism. She says she concerns about these people. Ayu wants to stop the differences between normal people and people with disabilities. She wants to talk to them normally and normal people to do the same. She really wants to make them communicate with another people without feeling shy but happy. How gold her heart is!

I'm very proud to have her as one of my amazing friends. I will always support her dream because it's such a best dream ever. I won't stop being her friend and I hope she won't stop being my friend too. All I want to say to Ayu is : keep dreaming and never stop believing, it will happen one day! Good luck and work hard Ayu, I am always here to push your back up to the sky to reach your dream!

About Myself

Introduction

Hii everyone!!!!

My name is Audrey Iona Jannice (look at the picture, it's me (:). People usually call me Audrey or Iona. I was born in Jakarta, on 6th September 2000. It means, I am fourteen years old now. I live with my family in Parahyangan Permai Gegerkalong H-6, Bandung. My parents are Andree Hendrianto and Sherlly Surijadi. They are my strong and amazing parents. My dad, Mr. Hendrianto has a sport shop business. He sells the sporting goods, exercise tools, swimsuits, bags, and some sport clothes. My mom, Mrs. Surijadi is a doctor. She is an acupuncture specialist. I have two young sisters. They are Alicia Elena Jasmine and Aleta Edna Jessalyn. My sisters are so kind and smart. I'm grateful to be a part of this family.

I have some hobbies which are playing volleyball and reading books such as novels or comics. I also love photography so much. Sometimes I just bring my camera when I go out to shoot some precious moments. When I have free time, I surf on internet. It helps me to find some new things and information which are good for me to learn about. I have some friends from Italy and Portugal so internet keeps me in touch with them by using emails/chatting online. When I am bored I play games or watch television with my sisters.

I always list things I love the most to things I love the least. The example is the list of my favorite subjects. Two subjects in the first place are Biology and English. Mathematics and Sport are the subjects that take place as the runners up. I have three favorite foods which are the parts of the things I love the most. They are pizza, ice cream and meatballs. The best pizzas in the world are only two kinds : my mom's homemade pizza and pizza hut. I have no food that I love the least because food is always number one.

I have some inspiring people to motivate me every day. They are Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne. They are in the band called One Direction. I have their posters all over my walls. I really like them because they have nice voices and great attitudes. When I get so tired and sad I just listen to their songs. The magic is it can make me happy in a second. Besides singing, they also help some poor homeless people and donate for charities. They are so kind and sweet not only to fans but to everyone. The best thing is fame doesn't change them to be arrogant or naughty.

My dad always tells me to never stop dreaming. That's why I have a lot of dreams and still believe they can happen anytime. I never stop believing. My first dream is to become a really successful person. I want to be remembered by people because of who I am and what I achieve. I really want to make my parents and teachers proud. I also want to meet and say thank you to all the people who have given me all the inspirations and spirits all this time.

When I'm older, I hope I can help my parents to get some money by being a photographer in my spare time. I also hope during these three years in SMAN 3, I can find what I want to become without feeling hesitate. I want to be able to answer certainly when people ask me what job I want to have in the future. But above all, I really hope I can make my life more colorful and has a lot of brilliant moments just like what my camera has.
